Giving Thanks

Giving thanks is more important to God than a life of sacrifice! In Psalm 50 God instructed his people to stop bringing their sacrifices until they had learned to give thanks!

Giving thanks to God in every life situation is a true sacrifice –

“But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me” (Psalm 50:23 – NLT).

Consider the following –

Thanksgiving brings honour to God (Psalm 69:30).

Thanksgiving is our duty (Psalm 122:4).

Thanksgiving should always be our song (Psalm 147: 7).

Thanksgiving is beautiful (Isaiah: 51: 3).

The prayers of Jesus were punctuated by thanksgiving (Matthew 11:25 and Matthew 26:27).

Thanksgiving is a mark to the fullness of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5: 18).

And, thanksgiving is the song of heaven (Revelation 4: 9 and Revelation 11: 16)

Make thanksgiving a way of life now! We will spent eternity doing it!
